Armando's is a club in Martinez at 707 Marina Vista. Started by Roy Jeans ( Armando ), Eloise Cotton, and Robert Perry, the club provides a first-rate performing and listening venue in the "Carquinez Straits" area. Located adjacent to the AmTrak Station, the club caters to an audience drawn from the Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, San Francisco, Solano, and Sonoma counties, the merchant marines, and train travelers. The unique ambience crafted by Roy Jeans appeals to the diverse tastes of all who enter, and compliments the broad range of music presented weekly.

My role at Armando's is front-of-house sound engineer, and occasional performer.
The signal chain is top notch, including a Soundcraft Mix board, QSC amplification, dbx compression, and Alesis fx.
The house mains are JBL with three stage wedges for monitor duties.
